Dinner at pasta Bella with Ally

I met Alisha Pierre when I was 15 years old in south Cobb High school, since the first day we became inseparable. I will never forget junior year of High school when she was diagnose with Crohn’s disease ally is big on privacy so even to tell me her best friend it took her a month to tell me about her diagnosis, Crohn's disease is a form of inflammatory bowel disease, It usually affects the intestines causing crowding after she eat, but may occur anywhere from the mouth to the end of the rectum. Ulcerative colitis is a related condition; Crohn's disease is caused by interactions between environmental, immunological and bacterial factors in genetically susceptible individuals. Because her condition got worst, sometimes it’s hard for her to be Sociality she has been on a wheel chair for 2 years. In the beginning she had problem with Adaptability especially when it was time for her to go to college, she attends Clark Atlanta University. So when I was told about this assignment I knew exactly who I was going to take on a date my ally.
When I told ally about my assignment we decided to go to my favorite restaurant pasta Bella in Austell. When we got there we realize there was ramp in front of the restaurant, so we knew the restaurant doesn't have an Accessibility problem. When we finally got into the restaurant and adjusting everyone was looking at ally with that pity look in their eyes, she hates that look. Because ally is not fully paralyze she use the wheel chair to support her cause she get weak fast, when we got to our booth she got out of the chair to the table, it made me realize how strong of a person ally really is. Ally love pasta Bella because other than the pity looks she was getting she found great comfort in the restaurant. I ask ally about her medication and how they are helping her? She started telling me about a new medication she will start in 3 weeks that is supposed to help her get stronger so she might not have to use the wheelchair for too long. I could see the excitement on my best friend face she is already planning different activity she wasn't to get into in her school. We laugh, talk, and reminisce about high school, talk about guys and everything best friends talk about.
Since it was a Wednesday night we decide to go to bible study instead of the mall. While we were driving I ask ally, what do you hate the most about your sickness? She look at me with a serious look and said “I hate that people think they have to treat me differently yes I have an illness but it’s not a card for people to pity me or treat me differently” I agree with her because I know the real ally she like to be in control, she is very spontaneous, outgoing and love to travel. We went to bible study then I drop her home, it was a great date with my best friend.
